Frost

This morning I couldn't resist taking a few pictures of the frost on the car.  I knew it wouldn't be there after I dropped Colt off at work and made my stop to get the Sunday papers. With the sun shining, the frost shimmered and looked really pretty.  The pictures doesn't do it justice :o)

Miss B and Brandon.  Brandon is Chey's boyfriend and today he came over to pick Chey up so they can go hangout and watch movies.  It is so cute when Brownie will do everything she can to get attention from Brandon.  As soon as Miss B sees Brandon taking off his shoes, she will lay down on the floor and roll over for a belly rub.  As soon as Brandon sits down, Miss B will jump up on the couch to sit by him.  If Chey is sitting next to him, she will whine till they let her up on the couch with them.  In this picture, I was able to get Miss B as she jumped up on the couch with Brandon.  I thought it was cute how she posed for me as I took the picture.  We tease Chey that Brownie is Brandon's new girlfriend LOL

This morning I had my nail appointment at Capeli Salon with Shannon.  I thought about going with my usual french tips but saw this awesome pink nail polish.  Nicki Minaj's collection with OPI is pretty cool.  So, for the next 3 weeks I'll be wearing Pink Friday.

FINALLY!  The darn FedEx guy stopped at the house!  It was like Christmas for Colten.  He finally got his new MLG backpack to fit all his gamer crap in.  Oh and the Astro's!  I have no clue what the heck these darn headphones do, but they make this kid of mine think he just won the lottery.  I guess this is what all the "gamers" use.  I stood there smiling like I knew what he was talking about LOL it all did a fly-by over my head.  I have to admit that it is always nice to see him smile.

Not only did the FedEx guy stop buy that afternoon, but the UPS redhead guy stopped by too.  I only know he's a redhead because the girls always refer to the UPS guy as the "Redhead Guy" LOL.  Ash was excited to finally get her new white coat.  

I was a very lucky Mom today...I got smiles from all the kids :o)

My Goofy Fantastic 4

Today I spent the morning doing laundry and cleaning up around the house.  Between that I tried to get some scrapbooking done.  I had an afternoon PT appointment with PT Jim today.  He did his usual "try to fix" the wrist things then out came the mega patch.  What you don't see in the picture is the battery pack that is placed on that plastic thing on top.  Once the battery pack is turned on....holy OUCH!  it feels like thousands of little sharp razors biting my wrist.  It last for about 3 minutes then the battery pack is removed.  After while I'm just wearing the patch it just stings.  I do have to admit that the pain does lead to comfort after the patch is removed.  I'm able to use my wrist to do things that would normally hurt to do before.

My Fantastic 4!  Today Michael and I picked up the 2 younger kids from school (the older 2 were already home) and we went to an early movie and dinner at Pizza Hut.  This was one of the RARE occasions when all 4 of the kids were together for a family night.  Typically there is a child who has something going on after school or at work.  So this was a very nice and fun evening for the Bearhart's.

After the kids all left for school, I had to get ready for my Dr appointment.  I've been doing PT for a month now its off to my orthopedics Dr to see what the next step will be to getting my wrist well again.  He gave me a cortisone shot to see how that helps with the pain I have been having.  I have to continue with my PT and will see him in 2 weeks again.

My 2nd photo is of Nick being a goof ball.  He found a hat I was knitting and put it on his head.  I told him it was a small child's hat and his head would probably be to big.  Well, that just made him determined to fit it on his head.  My silly Yazh :o)

Day 24

Waiting...

Ash had 2 classes today, her 9 am Spanish class and her 12:30 Lecture.  So she got to sleep for an extra hour.  Chey and Nick were sad to see their 3 day weekend end.  We were back to our daily morning routine.

Colt doesn't have his 1 class for the day till 2 so I tagged along with him and his dad while they did their errands before his class.  Before we left Ash came home.  She was upset that she drove all the way to Rice Lake to find out that her Spanish class was cancelled.

So off to "Frontier Tuesday" we went.  It is normally "Frontier Monday" but due to the holiday it was moved to Tuesday.  Ash left early so she could get to her 12:30 class.  I spent 2 hours knitting in the van while Colt and Michael took care of their errands and did some shopping.  The only stop I took a photo at was the library.  I didn't take any of the other stops we made.

With the guy errands done, Colt off to class, off to home we go :o)

At 4:30 am Brownie woke me up to let her outside to take care of her puppy business.  At 4:30 there was no snow outside...when I woke up again at 6 am to get the kids up and going and to let Miss B out again, HOLY SNOW!  We haven't had much snow this winter so it was a nice surprise to see.

Chey and Nick didn't have school today but Colt and Ash did.  I was in Mamarazzi mode again this morning as Ash was getting ready for her first day of college.  Michael and I are proud of our 2 oldest, Ash and Colt.  The both of them have successfully started college and have goals set for themselves.

With the older 2 in school, I spent the day with the younger 2.  Nick slept-in till noon due to him staying up till 4 am playing his XBox.  Chey and I watched a couple movies before we got motivated to start chores.  Chey was quick to get her chores done since Brandon was coming to pick her up so they could spend the day together.

It was a nice evening with the family all home.  Brandon stayed for a bit when he brought Chey home.  I thought it was funny to learn that Chey had warned him early in their relationship about Mom and her camera LOL
